About our Founder
Sandhya Agarwal
My upbringing was shaped by the expectations set by my father, who always believed that my destiny lay in becoming a jeweller. He often recounted stories of our family’s jewellery lineage, with his maternal grandfather being a renowned jeweller in Hyderabad, part of the esteemed Totaram Sagarlal family. Despite this heritage, my heart was drawn towards the glamorous world of fashion, inspired by my mother, Vaishali Agarwal, who had dedicated 24 years of her life to the fashion industry. I was immersed in the artistry of tailoring and embroidery from the tender age of 2.
My journey took an unexpected turn when I pursued a degree in Luxury Brand Management after completing my undergraduate studies. During this time, a semester project with Tiffany & Co. profoundly impacted me. Their remarkable growth, brand allure, and the charisma of their exquisite diamonds and high-end jewellery ignited a newfound passion within me for fine jewellery. To delve deeper into my newfound calling, I embarked on a four-month internship at a local jewellery manufacturer’s factory, which turned out to be a life-changing experience.
My passion for jewellery design deepened during this transformative period. I furthered my knowledge by enrolling at GIA to study diamonds and supplemented my education with numerous online courses during the COVID-19 pandemic. In May 2022, I took a significant leap and opened a jewellery store, co-located with my mother’s store – Vaishali.
The response we’ve received has exceeded our wildest expectations. We are constantly expanding our design portfolio, identifying market gaps, and striving to provide our clients with nothing less than the finest jewellery. Our offerings span from delicate everyday pieces to exquisite bridal jewellery. Our vision is to create jewellery that draws inspiration from around the world while remaining deeply rooted in India’s rich cultural heritage.”
